When my mother-in-law was in hospital after a fall we knew that she wouldn’t be coming home to her own bed. She wouldn’t be able to manage the stairs and we didn’t know how long for. We thought that she would be most comfortable and safest in a hospital-style bed, but were disappointed to find high delivery and collection costs as well as what felt like very long minimum rental periods when we didn’t have any idea how long she would need the bed.
